2002 Ford Taurus please help!

Transmission problem
2002 Ford Taurus Automatic 121500 miles

As i was driving down the road.. suddenly the car acted as if i knocked it out of gear..it would just rev up and wouldn't go into any gear.. reverse wont even work.. the car will start and the shifter will move up and down.. but nothing happens when you put into gear..

Check tranny fluids
check for codes
check axles
suspect internal tranny problem and tranny oil pump failure
