I went out to start my car after work, at first it would idle for about 20-30 seconds then sputter and die. a co-worker said it sounded like weak gas or water in gas.
We got some heet put it in the tank, and after repeating the above process a few times, it would stay running, but when i applied any kind of gas, it would sputter and die. After repating the above process a few times it finally got to a point where we could put it in drive let it idle itself around the parking lot a few times, again when i applied gas it would die, since I only lived about 2 miles down the road, he followed me to my house. it finally got to a point where I could slowly give it some gas and it would slightly accelerate, it never got above 10 mph tho, and around 2000 rpm's would sputter and threaten to die. Luckily we pulled into the driveway just as it was red-lining and i killed it and it was spewing a little bit of water out of the coolant resevoir. I turned it off and came inside to seek assistance. Thank you for your reply
