Hello, and thank you up-front for taking my question.
I went the other day to have my car inspection done and the engine light was on(it has been going off and on for some time now, and i guessed that it was the fuel cap...i have had this problem before), when the inspector pulled the code he told me it was the front 02 sensor which i promptly when out and bought. Then i decided to talk to my local mechanic and he said that an 02 code does nto necessarilly mean 02 sensor, that it could be a vacuum leak or an array of things and told me i should bring it in and let him diagnose the problem.
Should i spend the money or go with the 02 sensor replacement?
