My blower fan for heater and air conditioner stopped working when I turn it on. But at other times it comes on okay. I hear it making a slight grinding noise when it does come on. I never when it will work and when not.
can you give me some idea what might be happening.

Suspect bad blower motor
Disconnect blower motor and check for power and ground with key on and or engine running and the blower speed at high
If have both blower motor no good and need to be replaced
