2001 Ford Taurus Temperature gauge not working

My car was slow to heat up and not putting out hot air.I replaced my thermastat and cooling temp sensor. Now my temp gauge will not work at all. I checked the sensor connection and wiring. It is connected properly and no breaks.

If everything is ok, the you may have gotten a bad sensor. Try replacing it.
