Engine Cooling problem
2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just bought a car today and when I got home I noticed there was severe leakage coming from the either a hose or the coolant resevoir really not sure where but i opened the hood and there was nothing coming directly from the radiator. Can youpoint me in the right direction to get this problem resolved?

The best thing i can tell you is to go to a auto part's store and rent a cooling system pressure tester and pump the cooling system up and see where it leak's.I know auto part's store's rent's them without seeing it and pumping up the cooling system i can't tell you where the leak is.

Hi
well if it is the overflow hose simply replace it however if the tank is overfilled needs to be filled to proper level.
make sure coolant in radiator is full as well
