2001 Ford Taurus power windows

The motor will down down but not up. It does the same when out of the car. I bought a new one, same thing. I used a meter to test the voltage at the socket that feeds the motor. I get 12volts when I press up, and -12 volts when I press down. It has the auto down feature. I can hear a relay clicking when pressing the button. I hate throwing parts at it, please help.

If its window motor that you are talking about
That you can put down but not up
Suspect switch or bad ground wire
Check wiring harness in the door jam
