Greetings,
I acquired this ford a couple of months ago. I one week ago stumbled as I was driving in town. It now does this in drive and stopped as well as when accelerating fast in a low gear but only between 1000 and 1500 rpms. My mechanic said to replace the pcv valve and hose as well as the intake gaskets. I did and still have the problem. I should also tell you that it has shown by OBD codes that the system in running lean in bank 1 and 2. I really don't have the money to try all these different things, but am looking for best guess.

Thanks!

p.s. I have recently (month ago) given it a tune up and replaced the egr backpressure sensor.
