I have a 2001 Taurus that is very inconsistent in starting. It will sometimes crank up after turning over two or three times and then other times it will not start after turning over 10 or 15 times. If you turn off the ignition wait 5 seconds and try starting it it will start right up. I have replaced the spark plugs, the spark plug wires, replaced the fuel filter, and replaced the air filter. Any ideas what to do next ?
Thank you,
Steve

Check the fuel pressure to rule out a weak fuel pump if okay -might want to test the ignition switch and fuel pump relay
