2001 Ford Taurus 130000 miles

when i make a left or right turn I hear a grinding sound coming from the front end.

Check axles
if it making clik-clak noises as you drive and turn the wheels
if its making the noises without the car moving
suspect and check ball joints and outer tie rod ends
