Steering problem
2001 Ford Taurus Engine Size unknown Two Wheel Drive Automatic 85,000 miles

Im just wondering if anyone might know what this problem is. When i make a sharp turn to the left or right and hit the gas it makes a weird clicking type noise that almost sounds like some kind of belt or something. any help you can give me would be much appricated thanks.

Turn the wheel out all the way and have a look at the CV-Joints...if the boot is split, you need to change the joint. Check both sides!

I think that must be the problem although i don't see a break in the boot. But everything i read about the cv joints is exactly what im experiancing im going to have to bring it in and get it checked out
