i have 2001 ford taurus ses that was involved in an accident . i was told that the emerision switch will have to be reset due to the accident my question is were is this located ? mike

You must be talking about the inertia fuel cut off switch which is located-Right rear of vehicle, in cargo area, behind right wheelwell.
