2001 Ford Taurus External - Rear View Mirror Cover

My 2001 Taurus is silver in color, and has color coded rear view mirror covers. My driver side cover is missing, and I'm trying to locate just the plastic color coded cover and not the entire mirror assembly. Any suggestions? The dealer and even auto parts stores want to sell me the entire mirror.

Check your local salvage yards (junk yards). They will probably also be the complete assembly but the whole assembly isn't very hard to replace.
