how to remove a drivers side rear drum when the shoes were ground into the drum

This can be a hassle. Try to adjust the adjuster all the way in. If your lucky....don't expect it, the drum will slide right off after the adjuster wasn't frozen.

IF it is frozen, you need to pry off the drum and expect damage. Maybe Shoes, hold down hardware, drums......
