Interior problem
2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

the drivers door, first thing in the morning, does not latch once it is opened. I drive 10 minutes to work, holding it closed, and it is fine the rest of the day. I lubed the latch, it seems to move without restriction. Nothing seems to be loose or out of position. My first thought was the mechanism was frozen. Even after an extended dry spell and lubrication of the latch it continues. Any thoughts??

Is it lube that you are using or penetrating oil as it should be penetrating oil that you need to use
if that didn’t work have to release the latch
check door hinges also
