2001 Ford Taurus Cold and Hot

My air conditioning starts off cold, then becomes humid after some time; the warmer it is, the shorter the time the air is cold. But it cycles through, so if I turn the air off for a bit, then it will get cold again, but for a shorter time. The dealership recharged the A/C, but this didn't do anything. Any suggestions?
