Is changing a fuel filter something I should attempt? I know a bit about basic auto repair, brakes, basic maintenance, etc.

Hello,

Replacing the fuel filter on this vehicle is straight forward.
It can be done easily in a short period of time.

The fuel filter is located on the left side frame rail under the vehicle. It you look under the vehicle on that side you will see the fuel filter (see diagram).

To get the fuel filter out all you will have to do is take off the bracket that keeps it in place and remove the clamps for the hose.
