The car was running fine. All of a sudden it started jerking a little. I slowed down to pull on to a side road, and the car died. IT DID NOT OVERHEAT.

There was a lot of fluid on the ground. It looked like transmission.

Replaced the battery. But car still will not turn over. It tries, but dosen't.

I was told it might be a sensor. I realize that throwing in a new engine would help, but I think the "real" problem is much smaller.

There are no apprent leaks.

Head Gasket was replaced about 15 months ago.

Thank you for the donation,

What is the oil colour, Red or black? Check engine & transmission oil levels, Pull spark plugs and try to crank motor over, if it will not crank over, try and turn by hand, with out spark plugs it should turn fairly easily. If it wont turn something is locking the engine, check these things first and report back for more tests.
