How do you release the tention on the belt to change it?

What is the 8th digit of your vin so I can get you the correct info.

There is a tensioner pulley located by your power steering pump. My tarus uses a 15mm wrench I put that on the pulley relieve the pulley tension and replace the belt.

That's one way to do it but there is three engine option's for that year that's why I asked for the 8th digit of the vin so I knew which one of the three it is.
