2000 Ford Taurus fuel gauge always reads past full

i did chech the wiring on the sender, i used a digital ohm meter on the sender, it seems fine, i'd like to find a wiring diagram, i suspect the gauge itself, so i did change it with a used one,, there was no change, also it is flex fuel, the gauges i put in where from a 2000 taurus without flex fuel, thanks

If still giving you the same reading I would suspect fuel sender in the tank
Check if reading change when low on fuel
