2000 Ford Taurus EGR valve

I have a 2000 Ford Taurus. The check engine light is on because of a bad egr valve. I have tried to get the one off but i cannot get the nut that connects the egr valve to the tube. I have used everything from channel locks to pipe wrench and it will not move. Is there anything else i could use or do to get this thing off?

Spray it with ED40 and let it sit
or use heat
Most common to be bad is the DPFE sensor and not the EGR .
what do you have for codes ?
