2000 Ford Taurus cylinder sequence

2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

not sure of cylinder sequence on ford 3.0 dohc 24 valve in 2000 Taurus. Have misfire code for cyl #3 and want to change coil pack. At the price of coil packs, I would hate to change wrong one.

Does sequence go 123 down one side or does it start at #1 and go to opposite side for #2 ???
