How old is the belt? Does it appear to have a shine to it that would indicate it is glazed? Is it tight enough?

Im really not sure how old the belt is I just recently got the car, and no the belt doesnt seem to have a shine to it and yes the belts tight enough its not loose. When I press on the gas the squeaking seems to get faster but it doesnt stop idk what to do.

I want you to try a little test. Start the car so you can hear the noise. Open the hood and pour a little water on the belt. If the noise stops or changes, replace the belt. Remember to protect your eyes and clothes because water may come spraying back at you.

Let me know what you find.

If I had to guess, I would say the belt tensionier isn't placing enough tension on the belt. When you first start it, the alt has a strong draw on it. After a few seconds, it stops. Check to make sure none of the pulleys are glazed.

Let me know.
