2000 Ford Taurus

My trunk will not open on my car. I have used the button on the remote and in the car, I also used the key to unlock it and it's not working any suggestions?

Sounds like the latch may be broken. You will need to remove the rear seat to be able to make extensions long enough to go all the way through to unbolt the latch assembly from the back seat.From there you will be able to find out what happened. There are retainers that hold therear seat bottom in the car. they are located towards the outer sides in thefront, if you look under with a flashlight you should be able to see them when you lift the front edge up.when bottom is out, remove top for access to the trunk
