My car was doing fine till I found that its radiator water was all rusty. I got a radiator flush. After that it started losing water quickly. Every day half a gallon is used up. Also it gets boiling after a short drive 25 miles.?The mechanic said radiator needs to be changed and I got it changed and paid $400 for it.
But the problem was not solved, It still leaks after a short drive and get heated up, though the indicator does not show it. I am living on a very limited money and cannot waste on trial and error repairs. Could you please help me detect the fault?

Is the temp gauge in the car not showing that it is heating up? Did they put straight water in the system?

It is not a new question but a reply to your question. The indicator does not show that the car is heating up and the car was filled with anti freeze and not straight water after the flush, but even after the change of the radiator it was filled with anti freeze and not water. Now that I have to take it to the workshop, I have to fill it with water to be able to go there.

I think we need to start by replacing the temp sending unit so we know if gauge starts working correctly so we know if the engine is the problem or there is blockage. I will assume the cooling fans are working properly.
Also, I am assuming that the head gasket has been checked.

Let me know.

Also be sure to check the heater hose assembly if the clip is broken you could be leaking your water there also causing the over heating problem. I also agree with jacob, you need to find out why the guage is not displaying that you are overheating
