Transmission problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 200K miles
Can I put the AXOD tranny from my 3.8L '93 Sable sedan into the 3.0L '99 Taurus wagon? The Taurus has an AXOD tranny as well. This is the quick fix to get me on the road again. My mechanic says it should work. The Sable blew a head gasket and will take longer to repair. Any info is always appreciated.
