My fluid has drained for the power steering do to a bad left side racket pinion. This is my only means of transportation to and from work. Can I drive the car for about two more weeks and not damage anything else? The steering is hard but, it still handles fine. It's the slow sharp turns while manuvering in parking lots that create the most problems. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Running the P/S pump dry will definitely burn it up. How long do you have? Hard to say.
