1999 Ford Taurus problems with ac

Air Conditioning problem
1999 Ford Taurus

my air conditioner will only blow through the defrost vents. i have tried to move switch from ac to defrost and then back to ac with no success. what could be the problem?

check under the dash check all the blend doors and the vac motors that open and close them look for a vac hose disconnected. also behind the switch check vac and elec connections their
