We have replaced the power steering pump on my husbands ford taurus twice in six months because the turning radius was extremely tight. It has been two months since the last repair and the problem has reoccured. we believe that the problem is more than the pump, and we have been told that the front axle is shot as well. do you have any idea what could be causing the power steering to keep going out if there is no fluid leak and the pump is not to blame? also, what is the price range to replace the front axle (parts)?
Thank You!!
