I have been trying to fix this problem for weeks now still cant figure it out. Anyways the car wont charge the battery. Battery is good in it have tried multiple batteries all where good batteries and this didnt help. So I replaced the alternator twice cause thought that was the problem and still kills the battery. So i took the recent alternator in (off the car) tested good. So put it back on and still dieing. Tested it with it on the car and running and it says the alternator regulator is bad but with it off the car its fine. Also the alternator is only putting out 12.2 to 12.5 volts. Could there be a sensor or some kind of chip gone bad. Also all the fuses that i have check are not blown which is about every fuse in the car. I dont know else to try do you?

Hi:
Alternators normally produce more than 12 volts. I would say the voltage regulator is bad and not allowing the alt to do it's job.
