1999 Ford Taurus knocking

I stalled out in high water and now I am having problems. The car starts but there is a knock in the engine. I had water in the air filter, changed that, pulled all the plugs and they were real wet. I let them dry. Also, when you start the car water pours out the tail pipe.

A lot of smoke too? If so, it sounds like a blown head gasket or cracked head

Hi there,

best to do a comp test to see if you have a bent valve and suffered a hydraulic lock and compressed a rod, the knock and the water sound ominous, I feel you have done some serious damage to the engine.
