the engine stalled while coming to a stop,and started to smoke from the back side of the engine. i got to start and it was running very rough,and the oil light was on constantly.can this mean that the oil pump needs to be replaced? i also smellad a light oder of fuel,but only after i started the car up . im wondering if it can be the oil pump im very sorry i can not afford to donate anything im unemployed for 2 years now,bot if you can help i would really appreciate it .thankyou,sincerly dave

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge,if normal replace the oil pressure switch. If abnormal could mean oil pump and/or engine bearing.
