1999 Ford Taurus emission testing

the car has been sitting for 14months being started and ran periodically will this have any affects to it not passing an e-test?

If the check engine light is not coming on while being check periodically and the CEL comes on when key at run postion you shouldn't have a problem. I recommend you take it out for a longer test drive
