1999 Ford Taurus Dashboard and parking lights don't work

1999 Ford Taurus

Both my dashboard and parking lights do not work. Brought it in to a certified mechanic who diagnosed the problem as being a burnt out light switch and I've also read on other Internet sites that said the same thing, so I replaced it and nothing. Please help!!

Turn lights on and check fuses

check wire at the switch if burnt
