1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

coolant level light stays on, jumped out wire harness , checked switch both ok . light still on

U should not try to bypass the switch

PCM look for a resistance from the switch


If equipped Engine Coolant Level Switch is located On Coolant Reservoir
use an OBDII reader and check for codes do you have any (p1881,p1882,p1883,p1884)
I would clear the codes and start engine and check for codes again
