The car runs very smooth however, during cold starts especially during cold mornings the car idles really low and sometimes does not start unless I pump the gas during ignition. Once started the car will not idle with normal rpms and I have to drive with two feet to prevent it from almost stalling. However, after driving the car for awhile the car will surge forward and the rpms will mysteriously kick in while idling! This surge can even be slightly felt while on the highway when they kick in. Why the rpms do not kick in like they should during cold starts to always give me that powerful surge forward doen not make sense. Any idea. I have replaced the fuel filter, transmission filter and fluid, and some other exterior parts like tie rods, ball joints.
