1999 Ford Taurus clicking noise

the trans on my car makes this clicking noise and it slipping real bad... there is this sensor that sits right next to the netrul safty switch. thats makeing thins noise do you what sensor it might be?

Look at the color of the wires. If they are Dark green/white and gray/red, it is Turbine Shaft Speed (TSS) sensor. If it is dark blue/yellow and gray red, it is Output Shaft Speed (OSS) sensor.
