1998 Ford Taurus what should I do?

I put 3 to 4 gallons of deisel fuel in my car. I have akso ran it put of gas repeatedly. What is the best way to get my car to run rightm again?

First take off the tank, clean it down and clean off the pump filter then put it back up. Next take off the fuel filter and then blow air through the lines to get out all the impurities from the tank to the fuel filter. Then put in the new fuel filter and hook up the lines and tank, fill it with gas and add some fuel additives to it and let it run.
