Engine Cooling problem
1998 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1998 taures 3.0 engine. There is engine or tranny oil in the coolant. The coolant is brown and foamy and sluggy. I don't seem to be losing engine oil although I am losing tranny oil. The engine and tranny oil is not contaminated

Hi there,

If there is oil cooler in the radiator have this checked for a leak, if there is trans oil in the coolant water will be getting into the trans,
