Heater problem
1998 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 130000 miles
I have a 98 Taurus SE stationwagon with the 3.0 ohv 6 cylinder engine. I had to have a new radiator installed. Even with the new radiator I am still only getting luke warm air from my heater. I can turn the temp dial to cold and the air become cold, and when I move it back to hot, the temp does warm up but not to real hot. I also hear a sound from my dash like something is closing (blend door?).
Since I just had a new radiator installed how can I tell if the heater core is clogged? Can you flush just a heater core?
