driver side brake light inoperable. pass/3rd ok.
replaced lamp/fuse #5 (under scolumn). no luck.

Do the back-up, taillight and turn signal lamps work on the driver side taillamp assembly?

Ok, the tail and brake lamp use the same bulb called a double filament bulb. Are you certain the bulb is good, and is the correct type for your vehicle?

when I pulled taillight panel off< I changed 1st lamp to the left. This would have been good if the lamp to the right did NOT travel with the trunk lid. I changed the signal lamp not the brake lamp. Problem solved. Life builds character!
