I have a ford Taurus se station wagon 3.0 L
I’m changing my heater core but having trouble disconnecting the A/C Evaporator Core lower line from the engine side fire wall is their a special way to do this. To me it looks like I just have to pull them apart after the clip is off.

There is a garter band in fitting need tool to expand for removal. Should get at a parts house
