When I accelerate from a complete stop the
transmission makes a loud bang when it shifts?

I'd get it looked at pronto.. my 99 made a loud bang when it shifted, resulting in a fractured planetary gearset, costs 1500 for a rebuilt installed, use a locally owned reliable trans shop, no nationals
