The relay for this was replaced about 1 yr ago (and everything worked until recently). I'm guessing it either is the fan motor itself, the switch to run it or possibly a fuse?? And where exactly in the fan motor located (I'm thinking to the L of the glove box)? Thanks for the info in advance.

my info says the blower motor is under the passenger side dash, didn't see a picture. With the key on, use a testlite at the relay terminals, two hot. If that checks out, check for voltage and ground at the motor connector. The ground for the blower motor is controlled.

I replaced the blower motor thinking it was the issue since the last guy who did the repair on the unit said it was probably on its last life (he replaced the relay). Is it possibly the fan speed switch?

Yes, it is possible. I'd want to check voltage and ground at the motor connector, first.
