My car's driver side window motor fried and the side mirror is barely hanging on. So instead of bying two separate parts I was just going to buy a used door from a junk yard. Then I heard that some doors from different ford models. So i was wondering if the doors from a taurus 1996, 98, and 99 or a sable from the same years, would also fit on my car.

I would just get a window motor and mirror it would be a lot less work then trying to get the door aligned correctly and replacing the door. You can get just the motor if the regulator is good for 47 plus shipping.Or the regulator and motor for 90 plus shipping. The mirror is 21-71 depending on if it's electric heated etc.i would get mirror at pick a part and order the window motor new.
