[quote="LAMFAM126"]FORD TAURUS GL 110,000 TRIED THE FUEL PUMP WAS TOLD SENSOR CRANK SOUND RIGHT TO ANYONE?
I just had a camshaft sensor (sounds similar) replaced on my Pontiac last week. The autoshop teacher at the school where I teach said that a shot sensor can result in the car taking a long time (2+ minutes) to turn over, or result in rough idling, that sort of thing. If you have had that sensor mentioned it might be worthwhile. The GM part cost me about $50CDN, not sure what the equivalent Ford part would cost. Not too expensive though, and worth a shot?
