Noises problem
1997 Ford Taurus 150000 miles

My car has been driving fine though there has recently been a clunking noise coming from the right rear tire area. It typically only occurs when driving over rough surfaces or when quickly turning to the right. Any help would be much appreciated.

This can be caused by a few things. First, check, closely, the coil spring for cracks or damage. Next, check the tracking bar bushings. Finally, there could be a problem with the wheel bearing. Safely lift the right rear of the vehicle and see if there is any play in the wheel.

Let me know what you find.
