How do I put in a new starter with a ground wire instead of the push in connector

I'm not sure which wire you are refering to. That particular starter is a case grounded starter and uses the bellhousing as it's ground. I believe the wire you are refering to is the ignition (exciter) wire for the solenoid. If you check some of the aftermarket parts stores, you may be able to find one that has a post instead of a tab. Then all you have to do is cut the end of the wire and install the correct terminal.
