1996 Ford Taurus

when i pulled into my driveway my brakes went out until i hit the house. but then after i backed up the brakes worked again. i check the brake fluid and it seems to be full. how is it possible for my brakes to go out and then work again later.

You're in danger here-stop driving it-If its not leaking anywhere, could be an internal leak in the master cylinder
