I recently purchased this car. It is in excellent condition. But, I discovered that every once in a while it would begin to shimmy while driving, and just as quickly as it would come, it went away. I inspected the brakes and found that the left caliper was hanging up and that the left rotor needed turning. I turned both rotors, installed a new left caliper and new brake pads. The shimmy is gone, but the brake heats up. This must have been an ongoing thing, for I found that the inside of the spindle cover was melted. Any ideas?
